Meet with Dr. April Hirschberg for a one time Lifestyle Medicine consultation or for ongoing health and well-being coaching sessions. Typical ongoing sessions range from 6-12 sessions.
Virtual group appointments are 1.5 hour/weekly based on the Positivity and Relaxation Training curriculum (an adapted Stress Management and Resiliency Training Program). Group size range from 6-12 individuals.
Dr. Hirschberg offers Mind Body Health workshops. In the workshop she will define stress, stress awareness and the body's stress response. Workshop attendees will learn how to elicit the Relaxation Response in order to buffer against stress as well as how to learn basic cognitive behavioral skills and lifestyle behavior strategies to enhance resilience. Workshops range from 1.5-2 hours.
Please note these groups are not therapy groups
An adapted 8-week, 1.5 hour/week interactive virtual group-based curriculum based on the Benson-Henry SMART program. Each group will be geared toward the the issues of a specific population, for example cancer survivors, previvors, health care providers, parents.
The weekly group will consist of 6-15 individuals in each session.

Join Dr. Hirschberg for this interactive workshop series ( 3-1 hour interactive virtual lectures) where she will discuss stress, the stress response of the human body and learn how to elicit your own bodies Relaxation Response and learn ways to buffer against high stress levels. She will also discuss healthy lifestyle behavior strategies and introduce mind body interventions that can promote wellbeing and resilience. The group will be able to accommodate 15-20 people
